Te Whatū Ora

Make a difference, Somewhere different.

This started with a pitch. The aim was to get overseas healthcare workers to come and work in New Zealand. Coming from the UK with a doctor for a mum I guess I seemed an obvious candidate to work on it. We won the pitch. And then pretty much delivered exactly what we presented.

It was a cool process to be part of, tricky at times, but shot in some of the most beautiful locations I have ever been to. It was also a pleasure to make work that aimed to try and make a difference, especially with healthcare being something so close to home, rather than just selling more cheese.

The deliverables were one 30” ‘manifesto’ type film, with three different 15” executions focusing on specific roles. The idea for these 15” was to connect the two worlds of healthcare and New Zealand as seamlessly as possible, going from one to the other in a single movement.

A similar idea was used to inform the art direction of the main OOH (below) connecting two things that were seemingly unconnected.
