Confused.com

We were briefed to create a set of idents for Confused.coms sponsorship of the 2019 Rugby world cup, hosted by Japan. The brief was to combine rugby, Japan and 'confusion to clarity.' After a lot of knocking out heads agains the wall and a few hundred games of pool, we landed on the idea of using Japanese philosophy to bring clarity to certain aspects of the game.

Working with Director Basak Erol, the idents were graphic and stylised to set them apart from the real sport, as any poor technique was likely to be scrutinised by all the nit picking rugby fans of pubs and the internet.

Most importantly of all. My Dad actually liked these.
